잉어와 수초, 등나무를 중심으로 구성한 긴팔 타투 도안입니다.
이번 작업은 평면에서 보기 좋은 그림보다, 실제로 팔 위에 올라갔을 때 더 입체적으로 보이는 구성을 먼저 생각했습니다.
어깨 근육에서 시작해 팔이 접히는 부분과 전완으로 이어지는 흐름을 따라 잉어들이 자연스럽게 감기도록 배치했습니다.
그 사이를 물의 흐름이 지나가도록 정리했고, 위쪽에는 등나무의 부드러운 흐름을, 아래쪽에는 수초와 물결을 두어 전체 구도가 팔을 따라 자연스럽게 이어지도록 구성했습니다.
잉어의 반복되는 비늘과 물결의 방향, 등나무와 수초의 선이 함께 남아 몸 위에서 조용하지만 힘 있는 흐름으로 보이길 바랐습니다.
This full sleeve tattoo design is built around koi, aquatic plants, and wisteria.
Rather than treating it only as a flat image, I planned the composition with the body in mind from the beginning.
The koi are arranged along the shoulder, the bend of the arm, and the flow of the forearm, so they can wrap naturally with the structure of the body.
The movement of water connects the koi throughout the piece, while the wisteria falls softly from the top and the aquatic plants and waves hold the lower part of the composition.
Through the repeated scale patterns, the direction of the water, and the flowing lines of the wisteria and aquatic plants, I wanted the design to feel calm, continuous, and strong on the skin.
